Family Holidays on an Organic Farm
“Samy, Mathilda, Anna, Lotti”, children’s voices resound through the Forsthof farm! Whilst parents enjoy the delicious breakfast, their children feed the rabbits, let the chicken out for the day, perhaps find some fresh eggs, play hide and seek with Samy, or have fun on the playground before leaving for another exciting family excursion.
On the FORSTHOFALM
There are cows to be milked, wood to be chopped, fences to be put up, cows to be herded, streams to be cleaned out, food & drinks to be served… Erhard will happily explain everything to you. Our guest families are allowed to pick those small plants that “invade” the pasture – a little surprise awaits the kids on the FORSTHOF.
A summer holiday packed full of activity
In MAISHOFEN, right in the ‘heart’ of Austria, in the middle of the Central Alps where you can either try or master an unbelievable number of different sports. Whether by bike, e-bike, MTB or downhiller, whether swimming across the lake or trying rafting or canyoning, maybe you will walk, run, hike, climb up the surrounding peaks or go rock climbing, perhaps you prefer minigolf, golf or disc golf,or you are drawn towards ‘mountain yoga’ and wellness. JUST in case you have some more energy left a trampoline, slackline, a meadow for a barefoot stroll, smackball, badminton, kubb (viking chess), bocce ball and ‘mini-indoor-ping pong’ await you at PENSION FORSTHOF!
